Retreat for Separated or Divorced

Christ the King Retreat Center in Buffalo, MN is the site for the annual retreat for separated and divorced persons. The next retreat will by held May 28 - 30. This retreat is based on the image from Isaiah, that we are called to live “in the palm of God’s Hand,” Adaire Lassonde, SSND, director of the Office for Separated or Divorced for over 30 years, will offer spiritual support that can “bring us to a closer union with the God.” To register call, 763/682-1394.

Capitol City Grief Coalition

Easter and the season of Resurrection may surface questions for those of us who have lost a loved one. In faith we profess to believe in the “resurrection of the body and life everlasting.” Yet, in the throws of grief, we can feel like the confused women at the tomb and the doubting apostles, especially if grief sets in months or even years after the death of a dear one!

Perhaps Easter is the time to explore your grief with our local Grief Coalition who meets each week on Thursday, 5:00-6:30 PM. For information call 651/223-7544.
